New banknotes for Cambodia with re-introduction of 200 and 2000 riel notes
The Royal Government of Cambodia has issued a sub-decree to officially introduce new 200 Riel and 2000 Riel banknotes from November 14, 2022. The National Bank of Cambodia has confirmed that from the date of this announcement, 200 Riel and 2000 Riel banknotes will be in circulation along with other types of banknotes that have been issued in the past.
